Sex and the City 2 inspired nails | Deborah Lippmann "Happy Birthday"

I can't wait to go see Sex and the City 2 tonight!  I've read the reviews but I'm a fan and I support the ladies!

Overall Rating    4.4 out of 5

If you've ever seen this bottle on display at Nordstroms it feels like it's calling your name from across the room.  As a matter of fact the first time I spotted Lippmann "Happy Birthday" I was paying for a large MAC purchase at Nordstroms and got completely sidetracked.  I didn't grab it that day because I was in a rush and had to get back to work.  What was I thinking?!  My thoughts about high-end nail polish is this:  If you're going to invest in a bottle (or two) consider if it'll be used an everyday color or a special occasion color.  Also make sure that a dupe doesn't exist or even come close.   "Happy Birthday"fits both categories.  It's a special occasion polish and a dupe doesn't exist or come close.  This glitter packed nail lacquer has a blend of yellow, blue, red, silver, orange, fuchsia, and green  small square and hexagon shaped glitters.  It's so BLINGY!

I recreated the look with NYX NGP 153 Dynamic Glitter @ 1.99. Since I'm older, I wanted the bling without the added rainbow of colors. The NYX has a monotone sliver glitter that reflects all kids of gorgeousness!
Awesome post! I'm so glad that someone else over the age of 12 LOVES glitter polishes too! LMBO
